Holiday Resort Pěnčín

The holiday resort Pěnčín offers a lot of interesting activities for children and adults as well. Its visitors can watch the production process of glass beads, visit a goat farm, take a riding in a horse carriage on old roads, go by a sight-seeing train to the near view tower Černá Studnice, enjoy the specialities made of goat cheese or meat in the restaurant "U Brusírny", or buy glass beads, jewellery or goat cheese and other products from goat milk.

The glass beads grindery

While visiting the glass beads grindery, you can watch the whole production process of glass beads and learn how they are pressed, grinded and polished.

Goat farm & cheese factory

The visitors of the goat farm get an explanation about the breeds and the cheese-making technology. The visit includes sample tasting of our products, which can be bought in a cheese shop. You can choose from approximately 13 fresh cheese sorts.

Sight-seeing train

The sight-seeing train offers a possibility to enjoy the beauty of nature and monuments in a different way. The train consists of an engine and three coaches, which are open, with a waterproof canvas top.

Ride in a horse carriage:

You can take a riding in a horse carriage on a ca. 2km-long track. The carriage has got two banks for 2 x 5 passengers, the banks are covered with a waterproof top. The passenger space is equipped with two loudspeakers to provide the passengers with an explanation about the route.

The glass beads grindery and the goat farm are open all year round, the sight-seeing train and and rides in the horse carriage are available from Mai to September.
